facebook page, up coming show & etsy shop

i will also be at the millard west spring craft fair at millard west high school (176th & q, omaha, ne) on saturday march 31.  show time is from 9 am to 4 pm.  this is my first time at the spring show so hoping it goes well. 

i finally opened up my etsy shop too!!!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/kraftykellysgifts  i know i dont have that much stuff listed yet, but be patient with me please i am working on it.  and if you are wondering where my zizzle listings are at???  sorry etsy wont let me list those, apparently i make mine to close to the original.  help get the word out on these great baby & kid items so i can make this my only job (well besides my kids)

i can also now take credit cards at my shows and if you stop at the house to get something.  lost a few sales that way so figured it was time to get with the times.

nursing covers

i have been busy in the basement again.  my latest projects-hooter hiders.  while these are not a new item for me, i don't think i have posted anything about them before.  they are about 26" x 41" with a 4" d ring strap and 32" adjustable strap, so you can make it fit your body and baby cant pull the cover off.  sewn between the straps is a 16" piece of boning that gives you clear view of what baby is doing.  this would also work great for a pumping mom (come on you know how silly you look)

'ice' fishing

there hasnt been much for ice this year, but kids will love this 'ice' fishing.  wooden pole with magnetic 'hook' catches six fish.  now you can fish even when it's too cold, or windy outside.  i have heard it's also great in the car, and a fun way to learn. (paper clip on words, numbers or letters)

to help avoid fighting extra poles and fish are also available.

christmas gifts

now that chrsitmas is over i can share more of the gifts i made people for christmas.  my sister & sis in laws got necklaces, with either their kids names or their initials.  (the love was an exchange gift) i think they turned out pretty good. 

 i have also been into making hair flowers lately.  so the baby sitter, her daughter & a baby she watches got some.  they are pretty fun & fast to make.  to bad my daughter doesnt like to wear hers.

since my kids arent really old enough to run the computer very well, i think it's safe to say that i can post  a christmas gift that i made for them.  pillow pets!  z has been bugging me one for a LONG time.  but i refused to buy one, the velcro on the ones i have seen never keeps them in pet form.  saw this pattern and figured i could finally give in to his request.  the dark blue one is for him & the light is for p (she isnt all girl) 

i have many more gifts to make and may post as i complete but just not with a name since i some of my followers are the intended recepient.  if not i'll post after christmas. 

darm weather kept the craft show traffic low last weekend.  but thanks to all who did brave the weather.  congrats to betsy theisen, she is the winner of the santa countdown.  look for that in the mail.  have a merry christmas everyone!
