i again hosted our annual lefsa making party.  it was SO much fun.  this year we did 5 batches.  for those of you that dont know what lefsa is-cody best described it as a cross between a tortilla & churro.  very yummy! piper will be a good roller when she is older.  boy do the kids love it as much as i do.  we all so make some cookies including kringle.

christmas ornaments

this years christmas ornaments.  wine cork trees.  they were fun to make & i think they turned out pretty cute. 

jewelery roll

so i have wanted a jewelry roll for when i travel for the longest time, but have never found just what i wanted in the stores.  all my dangly earings get tangled, along with necklaces, not fun to untangle.  so i finally made my own for a trip i took to arizona over thanksgiving.  it worked great!!!  this in the smaller version that i made since i knew i woundnt be wearing that much jewelery.  pockets for everything & a flap that covers the top to keep everything in when i roll and close with the elastic strap. now back to all those christmas gifts i need to make........

something for me & craft show info

finally made something for me!  clearance frame that i covered with scrapbook paper, and added a few flowers too.  now to get some pictures in it...

this weekend i will be having my 1st craft show of the fall season.  its the millard west craft fair & botique, located at millard west high school (176th & q st)  on saturday october 6th, running from 9 am til 4 pm.  i have been busy in tha basement getting ready and cant wait for show day.  hope to see everyone there and if you cant make it this weekend, i will be at the burke show & humphrey in november. 

flannel works in progress

i have been busy in the basement getting ready for all the craft shows i will be at this fall.  actually i need to be busier, but it's still nice outside & have lots of yard work to do.  the top pic is flannel i am done sewing into blankets & burp cloths, the bottom is the 2nd half of fabric that i am working on right now.  after that i'll move on to cotton for bibs, changing pockets, nursing covers then ribbon for paci clips.  oh and i suppose i should think about christmas sometime too.  i'll try to keep you updated on what i get finished. and let you know about my craft show schedule.

leaky faucet bib & cloth diaper burp cloths

a fun custom order i did for a friend.  leaky faucet bib that is backed with pul fabric.  even the drooliest baby wont get their clothes wet (or need 15 bibs a day) and a set of 3 cloth diaper burp cloths.
